Foodtogo Chopsticks

Written by topgear. Posted in Cool Accessories, Gadget, Kitchen

Chopsticks are one of the most widely used utensils in the world with thousands of years of history.

Yet the plastic casing they often come in are not only bad for the environment, but also do the chop

-sticks no justice. Therefore, Foodtogo was created with three main goals in mind:

1) To be aesthetically appealing and original

The packaging is based on three Asian countries: China, Japan and Korea. The colours are based on

their national flag, and the characters inside are designed according to the past history and culture.

2) Sustainability

Since most of the packaging is made from fabric, it can be rewashed and reused. Fabric is also a durable

material and lasts a long time.

3) Multifunctional.

The package is designed to have a second life after its initial use. Aside from storing chopsticks, the front

pockets can be used to store other stationaries and eating utensils such as spoons, forks, scissors, etc. The

bag also has a handle and can be used to carry small groceries or longer objects such as water bottles.

Another tea strainer. Aren’t you excited? I know how important it is to you, that perfect (elusive?)

cup of tea, and Kinto has yet another option to consider. This stick-shaped tea strainer has a slidable

side that allows you to scoop tea leaves directly without the use of a spoon. Slide the side back down

to cover, and then place in your cup with hot water. The slidable part is easy to remove completely
